Hypnotherapy uses the power of the mind to bring about effective and lasting change and improvement. It has been successfully used to treat problems with a psychological component such as phobias, addictions, depression, anxiety and pain. As the mind and body are strongly associated, hypnotherapy can also bring about changes to physical problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and skin conditions.

I specialise in hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming but also incorporate aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, discursive empowerment and motivational interviewing into therapy sessions.

 

Each therapy session will be uniquely tailored to suit your specific needs, preferences and abilities which may also incorporate your personal hobbies and interests. As a person-centred practitioner I believes that we are the experts on our own lives and problems which is why you will find my approach to be warm and empathic.

 

There are no guarantees or miracle cures but if you are motivated and committed to making changes, hypnotherapy could be for you.
